Think More Know Less - #55

Less is more.
If you have a messy desk with things that serve no purpose, remember this tweet.
Each object is pulling on your attention and making your brain paint a picture that it is there.
That same brain power can be used to focus on a task, or scroll through Instagram, whichever you find worthwhile.
Jokes aside, if it doesn’t serve an every day purpose, put it out of sight.
Out of sight = Out of mind.
Clearing your environment from what I call “crap” makes you feel lighter, probably reduces anxiety and helps you think more clearly.
I should be the brown Marie Kondo, although I’d be funnier and obnoxious :)
A lot of people got this wrong online.
Another Productivity Hack

I used to care about being perfect.
If I wanted to build a new habit, such as waking up at 5am and going for a walk, I thought I HAD to do it every day.
I thought the top performers are people who never miss.
Whenever I slept in or felt lazy, I felt like a failure.
Only after speaking with a friend and talking about this, I realized that everyone misses, and the goal isn’t perfection, it should be momentum.
Getting to the gym and doing A workout is better than NO workout.

We’ve all played broken telephone, but this is a much better version.
Most adults need to do this.
I’d definitely be kid #3 who spills it on himself because of the kid behind him LOL
But what’s the answer to the cup question?
