But I think the main issue is that we are always looking for an escape.
The human condition is to never be satisfied with the current state.
We escape the real world through online games, videos and other content, and now we need an escape from all of the above.
Maybe we just need to have the right balance.
Too much of anything is never a good thing.
As we enter the holidays we’ll be increasing the amount of time we spend with family.
In most conversations politics always gets intertwined, and of course there are heated discussions.
But this tweet perfectly sums up the need for humility, and to know that everyone has their own perspective.
For most things there is always more than one truth.
Did you know the USA has 867 military bases?
And, these 867 military bases are NOT located in the USA.
Yes that means 867 military bases that are located in countries other than America and its territories.

Guess how many are in Canada?
I guessed 0.
There are 25 (see below)!
I had no idea Canada had foreign military bases.
Being so close to the USA I figured that would be more than enough.
The rough math to operate these bases is between $100-$250 billion per year.
Also the Department of Defence had to use a University Professor’s database to understand where these bases were, since they did not keep track of this anywhere…
Crazy.
Anyways this link let’s you sift through where these bases are located globally, it is astonishing the reach of the US military.
Some of these bases are weapons depots — basically a weapons storage facility in the event of a war so the US Military will have forward deployed weapon supplies.

I religiously close the seat and flush, because I read online that a bunch of “stuff” enters the air in fine particles and goes all over the bathroom.
